Member of the Paris Bar since 1987, Xavier DELPLANQUE de MANDELOT practices especially in International litigation. He holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies (D.E.A.) in Private Law, with honors (University of Paris I -Panthéon-Sorbonne) and a Master of Private Law (University of Paris II-Assas). Moreover, he is a member of French Maritime Law Association. He was awarded the National Defense Medal with clasp, Airborne Troops.

He began his practice as an associate at GIDE-LOYRETTE-NOUEL firm from 1989 to 1992. He then participated in the creation of DELPLANQUE-GEBRAN Law Firm from 1992 to 2000. He finally founded his own law firm, as grounder of  JURIS LITIS.

He has participated in many prestigious legal disputes such as Probo Koala in Ivory Coast (dumping of toxic waste, defense of the Ivorian state before the Court of Assize of Abidjan) and Erika case (defense of the interests of General Council of Morbihan, Municipality of Île-d’Houat and Quiberon Peninsula) which have allowed him to use his expertise in the Law of the Sea and Environmental Law in relation to international trade litigation practice.

He has also developed extensive expertise in economic matters (competition, unfair competition, breach of commercial relations, etc.).

Gilles HELIGON holds an M.B.A. and a D.E.S.S degree in Transport Law (Master’s of Advanced Studies (MAS)) and he served as International Chief Claim Officer for AXA CORPORATE SOLUTIONS, a subsidiary of AXA GROUP dedicated to corporate and specialty insurance, focusing on large and specialty risks, such as aviation, marine and space. He organized the claims management operations and supervised legal monitoring. In this capacity, he was also involved in communication management in important cases, in particular for air disasters.

Previously, he was in charge of maritime cases while he held for six years the position of Director of the Legal Department of CESAM (Marine and Transport Insurers’ Studies and Services Committee), economic interest group (EIG) consisting of insurance companies operating in the French insurance market.

He has also served for fifteen years as Legal Officer for International maritime transport companies members of WORMS group, then DELMAS.

He is a member of AFDM (French Association of Maritime Law) and of the French Society of Air and Space Law.

Member of the Liability Committee of the International Union of Marine Insurance (I.U.M.I.), from 1998 to 2007.

He was Chairman of the French Association of Maritime Law’s Insurance Commission, from 2005 to 2012.

He was Vice- Chairman of the French Association of Maritime Law, from 2001 to 2004.

He is currently a consultant within DELPLANQUE Firm, which benefits from his very rich and extensive experience.

Member of the Paris Bar since 2004, Jean de ROUX holds a doctoral degree in International Law from the University Paris I-Panthéon Sorbonne.

He was an Associate of BEAUSSIER & ASSOCIES, a law firm specialized in Banking and Securities Criminal Law, before creating his own Firm in 2009 in partnership with Xavier de ROUX with whom he practiced in specialized matters.

Jean de ROUX practices law and litigation for organizations and French and foreign companies large and small, notably in Labour Law, Commercial Law and Economic Law. His expertise extends also to Real Estate Law.

Member of the Paris Bar since 2011, Philippe de BONDY is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies of Paris (“Sciences-Po.”), and holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and Tax Law and a DESS degree (Master’s of Advanced Studies (MAS)) in Commercial Enterprises Law from Paris II-Assas.

Philippe de BONDY previously held the position of General Counsel of LAGARDERE ENTERTAINMENT GROUP (leading French audiovisual production group) and Strategy and Development Deputy Director of LAGARDERE GROUP from 2008 to 2011.

In addition, from 1999 to 2011, he was Deputy Legal Director of LAGARDERE GROUP.

Philippe de BONDY was particularly responsible for activities such as creation and monitoring of LAGARDERE PARIS RACING where Philippe de BONDY was director, TEAM LAGARDERE, a partnership with PARIS JEAN-BOUTIN sports association, Club des Entreprises Paris 2012, negotiation and implementation of LAGARDERE GROUP’s corporate contracts, and development of JEAN-LUC LAGARDERE FOUNDATION’s sponsorship operations.

Previously, from 1995 to 1999, he was associated with Maître Xavier DELPLANQUE at the DELPLANQUE-GEBRAN Law Firm.
